The Spirit of Mondstille

The long, harsh days of the Old World’s relentless winters are bitter ones, leading many folk to seek what comfort and joy they can find in celebrating old traditions and placating Ulric, the God of Winter. Mondstille is an important holiday – the Winter Solstice – when many gather with family and friends, away from the severe cold raging outside. 

In the remote mining town of Kupfertal, the Lurchen family are willing to extend their hospitality to all those who would otherwise suffer in the hard, bleak, and biting winter cold. Feasts, blessings, and games abound, but these kindly folk are going to need some hardy souls this season, for it is a sad fact of the Old World that goblins lack all Mondstille cheer.
